but hey, we won’t go there here…a deluge of it all around [and around and around] out there in the Delusional World of Fuckeds News*. Here we’ve the winter damp, darn damp but
always variations on the Theme of Piling to anchor things,
Christmas Distributions to document as well
as sidewalks,
more pilings, 46 degrees
and drippy when we went to Vallejo where sunshine threatened. Two hours later it was 45
degrees and still dripping back in Benicia. I stayed in the rest of the day, conked out on the couch while reading “Miles”, probably due to the Covid and flu shots [sorry, Bobby] I had while waiting for Linda’s wrist appointment that morning…and the morning after more of the same,
grey days’ gradations, more distributions [we’ll see how many survive Saturday’s Parade]
then a quick run in the Tun’ to the Big O, still trying to get the overly sensitive low tire light
to quiet down, which seemed, most likely, due to the spare…always good to know but, y’know,
an annoyance nonetheless and cold, for here anyway; wind blowing down the delta all day,
still blowing Saturday when we went out ahead of said Christmas Parade, the somewhat
pathetic end of which we caught after breakfast. People did seem to be having fun, or trying to.
*Thanks to which even the worst of OLD’s shenanigans still have a remarkable 36% approval rating [!].

wonderful pictures! thank you
I miss CA
Well it’s still here, Cali…
Love your murky shoreline views. I was also charmed by Benicia’s folksy Christmas Parade.
The NYT confirmed what you said about “tule fog” by the way…which may disperse as the rains arrive. It’s been quite the month.
