Monthly Archives: December 2022

Quiet descends…in a fog.

We were abandoned to our own devices as the kids went south, in the fog for days…

[less so in the afternoons]

unto the weekend, Saturday being

most moist until well past noon when, as hordes outfitted in Santahats [not shown] infiltrated

the downtown, somebody’s ship came in in time for Christmas Eve but then

the Day itself was as cold and dark as any from meagre dawn to early dark.

A good day to stay in,

cook a goose and feed it to a member of the Armed Forces* with, afterwards,

way too many cookies brought by Bryan in the library.

A Christmas quite quiet…but Merry.
