We were abandoned to our own devices as the kids went south, in the fog for days…
[less so in the afternoons]
unto the weekend, Saturday being
most moist until well past noon when, as hordes outfitted in Santahats [not shown] infiltrated
the downtown, somebody’s ship came in in time for Christmas Eve but then
the Day itself was as cold and dark as any from meagre dawn to early dark.
A good day to stay in,
cook a goose and feed it to a member of the Armed Forces* with, afterwards,
way too many cookies brought by Bryan in the library.
A Christmas quite quiet…but Merry.
*The actual U.S. military, not some bogus “patriot” “militia”.
Demolished Goose looks like it was a superlative!
Inkies content and resting, all is well with the home-world.
but where is a photo of the cookies??? Looks like a lovely time was had by all.
Maybe in the next iteration…I mean, cookies is cookies…
