A racist fascist billionaire Boer and a bullshitting wannabe Emperor Bore walk into [and over] a country with the complicity of the Million Maggot March chanting New Obscenities: USA! USA! USA! as their Big Beautiful Bill sweeps through the house…a bill none of them expect to pay* or be held accountable for.  Well, ok…but most of the rest of us will be paying and paying.

Not happening yet, though, just springtime in some northwestern corner of the Great Basin,

ranging about with dogs

Up in the Repo, building shelves to accommodate the next six years’ watercolors

and out towards the playa,

taking those little hobbling walks afternoons and mornings about the Park.

 

Tuesday became a good day to re-site sculpture when

Sonny and Seth came up from South Gate,** followed by a trip to Gerlach

for new boots [at the Post Office meeting Luis, the new postmaster] and Empire

where there were no avocados…so home to the porch and Summer’s First Lizard.

*Nor will it in any way diminish the healthcare coverage or wellbeing of a single one of those mega MAGA morons in either chamber: USA! indeed. But a few million slashed from Medicaid and a few million children going hungry are like nothing compared to all the nefarities woven into its “beautiful” fabric.  It’s not just “Fuck the Poor” it’s truly “Fuck YOU All [but not Us]”.  USA!
