Over the hill, and despite

a delayed departing,

a surprisingly uneventful trip with

a stop at Heather Glen, gas in Wadsworth and lunch overlooking the lake then

into the sun to Wall Spring by 3:30.

Saturday the wintry glare

turned to dirt

simplifying watercolors.

The afternoon brought flurries, cold winds

with clearing at the end

and snow promised, later. Well we’ll see…and see we did;

a dusting crept in in the evening, all we got

and gone by noon despite the cold.

[Logpile by Seth Benjamin Roché, whose motor home watches benignly over us from afar]

On the other hand getting back over the hill may be more problematic…

Waiting…hopefully not to be stuck in a line of semis from the border on.

      We have LP in the living room and a woodstove in the kitchen…after 28 years enough trees fall down to keep that supplied…couldn’t make it up here without it.

    Hope you stayed comfortably ensconced in the desert until the traffic and snow dissipated! No need to rush into that mess!
