Out like a platypus, in like an Iguana…

So whatchoo guana do about it? Maybe just straggle into the city for the sublime frustrations

attendant on weekend traffic in the Haight and the pleasure of a dinner there before the rains

returned in force, making Monday’s dogwalk a real soaker

though not nearly as inclement as the hill…of course to track that there’s CCTV on the one hand but better yet why not go straight to GPS for those  alternate routes;

after all, the Rubicon Trail in winter might be just the workout Siri and your Prius were

looking for if the squalls along the straits proved insufficiently challenging and anyway, once

March blew in a break in the weather,

80, eastbound at least, opened to passenger cars Wednesday afternoon.

That seemed a little late for us to venture over; best wait for the crowds to thin out although

Friday, the beginning of a long-awaited weekend, may well entail the additional hazard of Snow Bunnies blundering uphill to recreate.  Well, whatevs…hopefully at least the produce trucks will have made it to Whole Foods in Reno ahead of them.

    Totally captured the variability and instability of weather cycles: grey wet and crisp bright. Looking forward with trepidation and curiosity to your drive on 80.
