Monday, pristine light,
trucks to be loaded, unloaded [not shown]
and a trip to Two Hews where Shawn got his electricals sorted.
Meanwhile the studio, backlit, remained temporarily emptied and we all ate lunch in the yard.
Tuesday was cacophonous with murmuring dogs, barking dogs, then by 6:30 jackhammering which segued into seven o’clock’s leaf-blowers…time to get up, venture forth and get on with our lives…

and grasseous greenness by the bay [backed by a soundtrack of ubiquitous leaf-blowerers]

t-shirt weather downtown but
screaming winds the next…

Stupid- but weirdly satisfying; nothing worse than an itch that cannot be scratched. USAmerica is now a hideous reality show blaring at top volume on a television set that cannot be turned off. And speaking of hideous reality, that yellow Hummer…yeesh. And your anodyne truck next to it for comparison. One notes the difference.
Indeed…viva la differecia, as they say….or some such; and please turn down the sound…
I too appreciated the pairing of yellow hummer and charming honest pick-up. We have those sunny days with piercing winds down here too.
