Inundated with images and input this space will do its best to parse out some semblance of semblance from The Plethora as time permits. Meanwhile some Coming Attractions from what was truly one of those trips of a lifetime;
[London, Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Tate Modern, British Museum, West Kennet Long Barrow, Avebury, Salisbury Cathedral, Salisbury Giant, Giant Bustard, Stonehenge, Frieze, Hampstead, Hampstead Heath…and out]
More, oh so much more, to come…
Wow! Amazing… all of it.
Looking forward to more.
Thanks,
Calista
Thanks for the rich and diverse cornucopia of imagery; all arresting, amusing and entertaining. Some are difficult to parse from every-day objects versus museum displays; a testament to your artful documentation. I love the tongue-in-cheek, or should I say “cheeky”?, British signage. Thanks for the trip, I feel like I was there…. but no tea and scones?
All will be sorted in good time, and though our recent Nobel Laureate in literature once said “everybody must get sconed” [well something like that] I stuck with an Americano after lunch and my usual mint tea for breakfast…did have some fish and chips in a pub, however.
Wow so wonderful and of course your wit ever present. Spied Rick there.!
We definitely espied Rick, himself, ourselves…responsible for the whole lovely trip, he was…
For a moment I thought it said “Donors Alarmed”.
At first I was uneasy with the lack of commentary, but then embraced it and just let the images swarm. My brother Tom and Pat went when you could still walk around amongst the stones in Stonehenge! Looks like a great trip….and I too, just love the signs!
