Re-entry on autopilot…

After an uneasy night and early rising closed things up and though distracted mightily by an infected gum made it to the gate and away at 7:35, not much interested in anything but hanging on to the wheel…

down the desert past the sheeps awaiting their fates at Brent’s and in good time to Doyle to find the crossing blocked by a train that wasn’t going anywhere…dusty Japanese hipster in a Corolla comes up behind me; local, he knows a way around – fifteen minute detour north and across to 395.  Passing Doyle southbound the train’s still blocking the crossing.

Ouch! Autopilot with infected gums sounds awful, but your photography did not suffer; those quirky compositions (with a twinge of humor) depicting everyday life are always entertaining . If only we all could take notice; even on auto-pilot you still see so clearly. And that was a BIG cat!

I agree with Kirk, even in pain and ailing you got some great photos. My grandson Zoen, here with bro Milo, would just love driving around with you…..he is always look for the kinds of vehicles that charm you. He has surprisingly good taste for an almost 4 year old! Glad you were well enough for a full b-day celebration.
