After the car show cars drifted away it became another uneventful California week, warming up,

…later cooling down for some discreet sculptural activity, a socializing weekend both at home and, Sunday, a lovely elaborate lunch among all-too-seldom-seen friends in distant West Marin…

Returning in that endless line of weekend traffic on the Highway 37 causeway…

…through Vallejo, then Benicia, riding around our dusty windy town for a couple more afternoons before securing the Tundra’s load for desert roads;

    Miraculously rain made an appearance off and on for most of the day yesterday…felt like winter down here.
    Of course in January it felt like May or even June…..or whenever our warm month is!

      Ah yes, totally strange; there were tiny snow flurries coming back from Nevada Thursday and chill skies…nothing that would qualify as ‘rain’ however…

    The blue T was driving back from the Benicia Band Benefit Car Show a week ago Sunday…as for the yellow fence? Hmmm…some sort of civic improvement I’d guess…
