of the usual stuff…studio,
Fossil Hill,
studio,
up the Knoll,
and down
to find uninvited visitors waiting to use the bathroom. Oh well,
oh Aggie; “stay and wait” – we went to Pueblo
for many errands,
a redemptive lunch* at El Girasole
and home via the Interstate,
Redrock Road,
Gardner Butte
and the deck
a day shy of the full moon.
The day preceding said fullness we went 100′ up the Knoll,
took a small afternoon walk in the warm near woods before
setting up for a very fun dinner with Joan and Robert from Mountain Water as well as their and
our near neighbors Mike and Nancy [revels not shown though Nance did bring roses for my birthday and orange wine for Linda]…a most good evening with much news and vino.
It took a quiet next day to unravel from the revels, a day which wrapped ultimately up
with a Mysterious Trailer abandoned on the road and moon’s beginning wanings.
Another cycling; Saturday a straggling struggle up the knoll, even aging Aggie making it, but by
day’s end we all were back on the porch, our dinners
observed by a geriatric dog too timid to brave the steps…
*You just have to pick the right stuff…carne asada tacos [or rellenos, not shown] work fine.
As usual… great photos of Libre Life. Love the unique shot of Fossil hill, moon shots and deck dogs.
Not bad at all.
II like the ‘deck’ shot: All present and relaxing: knees, feet, puppies, and Libre. Lovely.
Is there any more info about the ‘M.T.’ [ Mysterious Trailer ]? Did it get there all on its own? 🙂 Looks like it could keep rolling all by itself. Its decking has had a hard life, though.
Only that it disappeared as mysteriously as it came…I think Leon might have had some connection to it but, eh.
The problem with waiting so long to respond is that the other responses tend to say it all and set a high bar in doing so! I loved these quotidian activities carried on under a brilliant blue sky with puffy clouds. Looks pretty comfy and Aggie has retained her dignity in her old age….
A cantankerous dignity at that…but we love her despite.
