So wotta week of bizarre and divers info it was out here in the ‘merica;
Early on we got Big Jim Comey, as Seen on TV, begging for understanding as to how badly he regrets allowing his Hubristic Honesty trap him into colluding with Vladimir Putin, Julian Assange [and a thousand other clowns] to throw the election, all the while disavowing any particular connection or responsibility, despite,
and then, just a few days later while looking for the Pacheco Brothers out in Trementina
stumbled onto one of Scientology’s legendarily super secret repositories!
Wowee! Now THAT was interesting.
Meanwhile we whiplashed from coldly wet [generally not shown] to a weekend
warmish enough to fix the fountain
in the brief interval between storms and the Uncommon Cold which came
and went; April showers [and the aforementioned uncommon cold] in April, yes.
In conclusion I have to hope that somewhere out there my mom’s noticing her lawn furniture is still Giving Great Pleasure half a century on as we amass all that Interesting Information,
indirectly inspiring* the Southern Colorado Junkyard Search which turned up these guys…
Ah, the Glorious Internet, eh?
*the Information, not the lawn furniture
We too, on the other coast, are having an uncommonly wet and cold April. February, on the other hand, seemed almost tropical. Almost. All the snow came in March brought in by 4 big Nor’Easters. I guess we have to drop “global warming” and revert to “climate change”. But the star magnolia has popped on schedule. Thanks for the glimpse into the secret caverns of scientology.
And Ernest Auto Wrecking is depressing in SO MANY different ways.
Live action under Western Skies…
Cavernous comments causing curiosity! Along with the usual creepiness.
But it is spring! Peace in the garden.
Makes me want to move to Benicia.
We were SO lucky to find this place eighteen years ago…
Love the yellow and red car, your mom’s furniture and occupant…..but only watched the video for about 3 mins. They all looked so enthused about being in a video!! The only thing moving – and wildly – was the camera!
For junkyard junkies the best part of the video is the last eight minutes -“Our Yard”- where the camera just silently walks row after row of rusting cars under stormy western skies. Kind of a specialized taste, however…
