Once the elves have left

Christmas must be finally over…though before that happened we had some blustery clear days

and then, around the twelfth of January, this little guy disappeared…putting a final nail

into the coffin of the Holiday Season.

Darker days were soon upon us…

dampening the landscape

while ‘ere indoors I read this oft fascinating if unevenly writ account of life, sonic…which ended

with a surprise that had me scrambling for the Other Viewpoint, supposedly coming Tuesday*.

Meanwhile the weather, as ever,

came and went [note unusual Presence of Tumbleweeds] while we tried

a night out seeing if Lucca was a viable option which, despite fine food

[save for the eternally soggy fries**], due to earsplitting volume it wasn’t…though sometime

later, listening to Nirvana to decompress, November turned up…

*It did.

**Maybe the fries are kept soggy in the hope that their [ineffectual] sound-deadening properties will make the environment more bearable. Still a great place for dining out…side.
