last day’s morning was chill, clear and blessed with Creatures [not shown] under the porch who, making Aggie manic, got everybody up early
…which was fine
as the snow went soon,
followed by helicopters
well one helicopter, anyway.
…and a dazed day’s done,
Painting[s] remaining unresolved, unsolved, etc.
Tuesday as Lefty had a last look I packed up, drowned the two woodrats from under the porch
and headed on down the road[s]
Smoke Creek Road…
Doyle Road…
Hallelujah Junction [395 at 70]
80 West
Heather Glen,
80 west of Sacramento
and back to real world Benicia; Bill’s ’70 at Two Hews Garage
and a boat on the Bay.
Lefty’s left with other things to look at now
while I froze in the studio unable to escape to sunshine awaiting a twice-missed UPS delivery [a common complaint around here, UPS not being compliant with our repeated requests to leave things around back]…which had been unbeknownst rescheduled. Thursday was considerably improved; the two [!] packages came as I visited Dave the Barber
…and though still freezing in the studio, lunch out compensated warmly.
So, back at it…
