Maybe what’s good for Benicia is that I’ve added twenty-nine new paintings to my website at

…or maybe what’s good is more faith-based;
In which case what’s good for Benissha [though someone here’s apparently too reticent to actually spell it out in a town mostly opposed to tar sands glop] seems to be the net energy loss project of bringing Canadian crude, and we do mean crude, oil by rail to the Valero Refinery, promoting profit for the plutocracy while we downtown “shelter in place” when the sirens go off…or just try not to breathe deeply during those winter days of chemical stench, all the while hoping nothing runs off the rails [I think it’s called hubris, believing human systems are infallible, or maybe it’s just a profound ignorance of history and the sorry state of American RR infrastructure]. The website cited takes you directly to Valero’s, with cherry-picked citations as to the overall harmlessness of the immense “benefits”; if you can believe that you probably believe that vapid little scenario in the background; plastic baby Jesus eternally attended by sexless infant angels and cute cartoon white people disguised as Arabs in the spirit of Christmas. Le vache? Don’t ask.
…anyway, dif’rent strokes for dif’rent folks; Happy Holidays!
