Definitely still Benicia…

though my mind, truth to tell, is already drifting elsewhere…to somewhere like summer,

Guano Valley, exploring the IXL but worrying as to whether some of the roads up there even still exist though it seems, as of 2026, they still kinda sorta do*, their patina

being similar to some facts on the ground still here, still now.

Here now brought what were probably the last rains of the season

and a Dental Day which cleared away in time for a last session with Sarah, my PT friend

at Kaiser whom I’ve been seeing since I fell off the porch but who is, sadly, moving to Missoula

as April, cooler and damper than one’s “normal” Benicia April,

persisted although the damper part, anyway, blew through.    Mostly.

Midweek we partook of Green curry at Mai Thai

and I continued going out for the air as best could be managed…

At week’s end Mini went back to Joe to have the intake walnut blasted as the valves were

looking a lot like our clogged Weber [the grille, not the carburetor] and Saturday we

collected it…Sunday quietly promised sun but didn’t follow through though continuing

in the spirit of decongestion L. devoted the afternoon to refreshing the Spirit lll with new internals which, as in the Mini, resulted in much improved combustion while in other news yet another attempted assassination of the Beloved Leader [facilitated yet again by suspiciously lax security protocols] succeeded spectacularly in not only turning our gnat-like attentions away from – what was it? – oh yes; some weird little war in the Middle East plus gave OLD the opportunity to demand the National Trust for Historic Preservation drop the lawsuit holding up his Wonderful Ballroom, now because it will be, under all the gold leaf, assassination proof and therefore delaying the Ugly Inevitable is “endangering the President’s life”.  Please…

transparency? I think we get it.

*After posting this I heard from a local source that the “road” does not exist and the IXL is fenced, posted and locked. Hmm…

    Beautiful photos as always…

We all call my spouse “Grumpass” but there may be room for more under this moniker. 😁

Sympathies…Finding good body work is such a challenge. Missoula, anyone?

A surprisingly pleasant spring in Benicia; great photos!
Sorry to hear your PT is moving to Missoula… that’s a long commute, but lots of nice country to traverse.
    IXL fenced off….suspicious.
