On 89 and over Donner the weather caught us, but dried out before the Eagle Lakes [not shown, 6500′].
So down the other side in the usual increasingly boring/annoying traffic to another climate, another world; the vertiginous viridian of California’s eternal-seeming winterspring…
This all as much of the rest of the continent is inundated in absolutely crazy [climate changing? Naaah…] winter.
Not here, not in Benissha, though…

Welcome back to California’s wonderful (albeit temporary) green landscapes. Great pictures of the seasonal juxtapositions; love the pond at dawn vs verdant Benicia. Be forewarned, we may all be descending on Wall Spring for water come late summer!
