Some skies

June, and the skies are easy….particularly as, as of Friday anyway, our President Without Precedent stepped back from perpetrating an all-out war with Iran after it was pointed out to him that it might ‘cost lives’.  Now THAT’s compassionate conservatism for ya.  Not that some of his cohort – Mike Pompous A-Hole comes to mind – would agree but I’m sure glad SOMEbody thought to point it out to him.

Meanwhile, blue skies over Nevada, for days ‘n’ days…

[move along folks; nothing to be seen here]

Of course and of necessity, various Tasks

like finally getting around to the far wood

[vintage mosaic attributed to Sally H. Moore, early 1950s] [Correction; Bryan H. Moore, N.D.]

The dread White Top flourishes, as do the Reptiles…

etc.

    Hi Michael,
I really enjoy your posts…you are an excellent photographer, the landscapes, views of trees, ponds, etc. are always visually exciting. So are the views of Benicia, on the road, Linda’s sculptures in the field, and the dogs. Keep it coming!

Yes well that was last year, a commission from the Art in Embassies Program that went, despite so much else in the government melting down, to a new U.S. Embassy building in Amman, Jordan. It’s called “Breeze”, I think, though not after my late college roommate Peter. B. Breeze.
Oh yes, I guess this is a blog…and, yes, we’ll see you soon; just one more week here…

      love

Nice, Mike, and sort of shocking that you have been at Wall Springs long enough to generate firewood.

I too really liked Linda’s paintings, very breezy along with the glorious images of clouds flying over those lush landscapes. I remember those clouds when Katie lived in Albuquerque.
