Shawn came by to deal with the ’45 bed, never to be seen again [he’s ver’ busy – it’ll happen…] leaving the truck somewhat naked awaiting further transformation. Meanwhile much deferred and/or unexpected Tundra maintenance is mostly dealt with while down First Street [what’s with all these Bel Airs?] another ’54 or ’53 Chev appears, and life along the water continues…
After a carwash, a couple of atypical trips to Berkeley, Highway 37 into the sunset the second Saturday and a last barbecue out back, the hills across the straits show a kiss of fog the morning of departure;
But we’ll have, yet to come, yet another dead Lumix on the desert. Plus a whole lot of smoke…stay tuned.

Actually the rusting bed is an original item [from Brian’s Salvage up in American Canyon] which Shawn will shorten and modify…some sort of improvement, aesthetically, we thinks…
