Afterwords…

Afternoon after Saturday’s drive, Dusty’s cows on their daily commute down the fence [Seth sez Dusty’s a good neighbor with those cows though they sure run a lot more of them than

the Jacksons did], same scene Sunday when Rachel came over from the Planet for a quick visit

to the Repo

and out

to the chairs, last trip of ‘summer’ for L.

who was gone Monday morning after breakfast,

leaving me

to other breakfasts,

other days and tasks

with wet snow  [black dogs mean that more often than not one has a dog-shaped hole

in most photographs] Wednesday on “Cloak”,

“Fumerole” and

a dog-shaped hole by the Tamarisks.

Being Nevada weather meant within minutes it was something different

in time for breakfast and lunch and

by four o’clock something

entirely else, again.

Of course.
