Life after Library…

wherein all was briefly calm and bright

until when I wasn’t looking [or something] Scott brought a U-Haul around to the back to load

and following Tuesday’s usual morning walkabout

we found ourselves on the bridge, the truck[s] not far behind,

headed for “civilization”;

Vermont Street, east of Portrero, Brian Gross Fine Art.

It was the former studio assistants’ Reunion Tour Install

with Terry Mason and Shawn HibmaCronan as well as Scott [Zoog, as ever]

plus the gallery’s Greg Flood and preparator

Peter, an all day affair

by the end of which had “Hachure” [the orange one] and “Valley Fog” assembled

as well as “Fault Block”

and “Orogeny” [not shown] up

with another two wall pieces positioned before

we left, 6:16 and miraculously a mere hour

home to Thai takeout. Wednesday it was back to calm and bright,

Thursday I actually got my truck in for service and seatbelt repair

before repairing to the couch.  Best I could do.

Thus there were a few quiet days of the usual clerical work left remaining in the week including

Friday,

the calm before…

the…?

Izel!!!
