Better things over the hill…

well first off, fog is better in Benicia but

soon enuf

fog gone

and up the hill

we stopped off at Eagle Lakes to let the dogs out and were happy to see that the rude assholes who ran us off their so-called [but if so unposted] “private property” years ago have had their

gate that wasn’t there then dealt with, then also not only found gas to be a lot less in Reno

but after various errands at the museum [not shown]

discovered the fish and chips to be considerably superior as well.

1:37, back to the highways; 80 East,

447, Nixon,

447 north,

Gerlach and Wall Spring on the Smoke Creek Desert where

with morning

the success of Parsons’ Drilling was evident

although also the Damage of their driving out after Bomb Cyclone’s soakage.

Frogpond full, everything flowing through;

success.

That first afternoon I went to Parker to drop a package

and after finishing unloading the truck made it to the chairs at

day’s end, then began another of

messing about with cars, watercolors, lunch on December’s porch…all fine.

Still day, end of day

another one done [and an eloquent reason why I don’t feel I have to make paintings like the

above anymore].  Dry December; try December without a scrap of snow on Donner, uh-oh.
