Back to Benicia as idiots light the world on fire…

…and boy are they. At least to my mind; to the bleeding minds of the FNF that guy looks like some kind of genius hero, as does his bossman whom they seem to think is some sort of Genius Messiah. Emphasis on the “mess”. Woe is we…well anyway Sunday last it was on down the road

and over the hill through the Mysterious Dixon Slowdown [not shown]

to a Week of Warm with way too much stuff; Southampton and Vallejo Monday seeking ladders

and a carwash, Tuesday up early only to have the long-anticipated cortisone treatment for the knees cancelled at the last minute, Adan and Juan laying blocks in the yard, Cindy cleaning

and me to Beau to have back and shoulders worked on, then out into the warm St. Patrick’s Day night to watch First Street revelry from Lucca and the next morning shuffled all the vehicles

out to the street so Castro could have his way with the yard, all back after lunch and then, desperate, emailed Kaiser about my ruined knees which – the squeaky knees get the grease – resulted in an in-person visit with the surgeon;

expertise, injections and a much better understanding of my Deterioration.  Feeling better

Friday I ventured around the 4 1/2 blocks with Sumi before another host of errands –

Southampton again as the backup propane bottle was faulty, haircut rescheduled due to Thursday’s trip to Vallejo and finally a third trip over there for previously planned PT.

Too many days of too many things plus trying to track down a missing credit card ate up every spare minute [of which there weren’t many]. Saturday, Easter pastels popping up as the week’s

extreme heat tapered off, I made it around five and a half blocks for the first time in weeks

and continued to spiff up the yard in anicipation Linda’s Sunday post-opening Garden Fiesta…

Soon.
