Onwards, without the picture of the plane in the road…

Coming down the long straight past the Smoke Creek turn picture what proved to be a crewcab pickup diagonally across the road, the strange horizontal behind becoming the wing of a small plane [picture here a plane on the picture plane, slightly dusty early morning desert stretching out behind it, southwest, hills on the right into haze] pulled up to top off fuel from a tank on the truck, unexpected but not depicted as all lost information but an interesting interaction nonetheless and subsequently back to dry California, weeks ago now…

The first image…some sort of pine cone (?) has a resemblance to Linda’s sculptures, for me at least. Love some of this Benicia minutia!!!!!

A pine cone it is, found on the ground at the Heather Glen off ramp off 80; the trees there are so tall [and the cones well hidden in the high branches] we had no idea such things existed…then the next time we stopped there was another one, flinging seeds.

Great shots, compositions, vision. Creating extraordinary from mundane. Thanks. Love the long dog merged from two beneath the table.
