Wall before Spring…

A Walk,

then out of town, with stops; Fairfield

the never-before-seen Crocker in Sacramento…

unexpectedly stupid traffic from Floriston

to the “USA Parkway” east of Reno

but no one after Wadsworth.  No One.

So Wall spring in the [not quite] spring…

with its “Xenobia” Dodge…

which I belatedly [like 48 years later] discovered to be actually the Astor Pass Dodge..ah, well.

March 30th brought AAA with the mini-X to cut the long-awaited New Ditch from Lowers

and a Birthday on the Porch

followed by another day of inventory in the Repo

and Enrico, fresh from ending an era [or several] at

Radar Ranch, from which we all benefited

despite those at times life-threatening aspects from which I fled, many years ago, to

the Smoke Creek where we celebrated

the first Bloom Oon of ’18.

Easter Sunday brought appropriately celebratory

portents of Spring,

Trucks were protected from rats in the usual way, but experience proves it’s hard to protect oneself from the vagaries of B F-ing Goodrich TA’s…more flats per mile than any tires I’ve ever owned [and haven’t since the eighties, except Toyota sends their trucks out the door so equipped] …

The Inventory continued through “Pacific Theater” [see below; this was Tulagi, Guadalcanal, 8 August 1942, before the effects of the Battle of Midway’s decimation of the Japanese carrier fleet was fully felt; ace Japanese pilots, flying medium bombers under [UNDER!] the declension of the USN’s guns…but the tide had already turned, the Empire’s communications had been hacked. It’s about Intelligence, pendejo; believe it. We’re toast without it, and we’ve been…hacked, as the Presence of the Pendejo proves quite eloquently] and beyond.

A morning came, interested parties inquired after the Holiday Rambler

which will definitely benefit from a new life while

on the final day…April awready.

Ahhh…every boy’s BD dream; a mini-X ditch, a refreshing Brut and a full moonrise on the Smoke Creek Desert. Nice!
Hopefully you’ll enjoy many more out there until Presidente Pendejo’s mindless tweets and hijacked zombies plunge us into civil war, world war and/or global environmental apocalypse. Enjoy!
At least you’re in a beautiful spot; love those UFO clouds over the Granites at sunset!

The Crocker is spectacular; well worth a trip to the Capitol. Interesting collections in depth and well-explained, beautiful siting…we were surprised and happy we went.
