Sunday morning brought hints, folksier hints up First, of the opulence to be seen on the green
as it was the Benicia Band’s big annual Benefit Car Show…2″ chop and ghost flames on a ’49 GMC; what’s not to like? And that was only the beginning…
Like, a 1959 Parkwood Chevy…
and more…more to come…
Looks like you’re in ‘hog heaven’, Michael!
… but, no space for your rat rod on display?
🙂
I would think you two, being motorcycle people [even BMW motorcycle people], would realize that Sturgis [http://sturgismotorcyclerally.com/] is really the definitive “hog heaven”…there were a few Harleys here, but not to show. More for the glamour of very large white-bearded guys with stereos even louder than their pipes cruising First all day.
Anyway, I like dropping in [and out] of these deals; a peripatetic hour’ll do it, usually; sitting around in the sun all day and explaining people I’m “not going to paint it”…naaah.
you must have been in hog heaven…but where was your truck??
Great colors. Love the ghost flames! Perfect day. Do post more, Mr. Moore.
On the way, today, Mr. Moore.
The Chevy wagon needs only 20th century wheels to be primo.
All great except the fizzy yellow Brazilian rice beer in the wheel well.
…and the too much chop and, um, that weird red; goes with his taste in beer, eh?
Stellar weather for the event…all the better to show off those brilliant colors!
