From the Library

well from the morning,

Saturday, the day “There’s No Place Like Nowhere” was installed in the Benicia Library

with Greg and Kathryn Weller-Renfrow

and wherein five hours afoot left me understandably unable to stand

but fortunately the ‘discovery’ of “The City and the City” – a deeply dystopian synthesis of JL Borges, PK Dick and the not entirely Dick-sian Bladerunner franchise –  kept me off said feet and additionally ran a mere four episodes, enabling one to savor The Entirety interspersed with

shopping and loading [not shown] as well as a brief revisitation of the install* Sunday day

before some last Thai takeaway, Borlú’s final denouement, then Monday’s

windy walk and the trip; into the foothills,

over the Hill,

East and

North

in time to meet

the curiously incurious Jason Miehl at Wall, there to pick up a piece of Linda’s for Denver,

after which I settled in to a chill evening with hopefully

enough residual juice in the batteries to make it to bedtime…

*”There’s No Place Like Nowhere”, February 22 – April 2, Benicia Public Library, 150 East L Street, Benicia, California. Reception March 5, 3 – 5 pm.
