Benicia in the spring, er, February, has a lot more color than those other places I spend time in, so coming down from the desert on the last day of January the greens, the reds, the blues and all the rest seemed pretty shocking.
There were the usual unusual vehicular suspects as well…
…animals, too;
Although the coloration didn’t last, we did manage a bit of digital grandparenting beforeĀ some sort of persistent ailment laid me down for the rest of a rainy week…
…to be only nominally recovered in time for a weekend of guests, merriment and wild swings of weather…
The wild swings of weather and merriment culminated in Unexpected Damage to a Knee, so most of the second Tuesday was devoted to lying around with ice on it [when not stripping out the ’45 in anticipation of Wednesday’s long-anticipated bed removal/replacement], though there were also winter gardens.
Removal of said bed to be the subject of something subsequent, and soon.
