So we have our Benicia brief morning, loaded up and out by 9:30 [allows one to hit 80 at Cordelia around the time the commute lane opens up], uneventfully dryly over the Sierra and the usual stops or variations thereof.
…strangely, traffic up the dirt from Doyle a bit, the California side much deteriorated and so onto desert, where simpler signs have been substituted at the junction, the remnants of Bonham Ranch are few indeed…
and life as a mammal is awkward, as often…
In the gate before three and figure it’s about time to put up, once and for all, a straightforward pic of the Repository so, here;
…and wander the powdery dry dirts of spring, Wall Spring…

Powdery dry dirts at wall, yes, but at least you still have some water in your ponds. The repository looks quite symmetrical, is there an even division of space inside as well?
Inside less symmetrical; behind the rollup door is a 32×40′ room while to the [almost immediate] right of it the space is 24×32′ with Tom’s two 6×6′ windows centered on the north wall…all almost ready to paint, which should happen this trip…
I like the symmetry of the Repository as well….there is something Palladio about it.
Also love the red new growth on the seemingly dead bush…one of my favorite early springs things.
No snow over the pass at all? Wow! I’m looking forward to seeing The Repository in the flesh.
Snow? What’s that? Nope, none.
