Wednesday was Toothday

Last Wednesday was also early to rise, weather forming and breaking over the straits

[which Valero appeared to be trying to use as a not very effective cover

for their customary aberrations] and following four hours in the Fairfield Dentisphere

[during which I felt very like the front fender of a ’55 Chevy* having its intake manifold replaced]

I made it home to lie icing the Damage between rains.

Recovery was swift, surely…somewhat, anyway.  More predictable than the weather which

got pretty crazy, particularly up in the mountains as the weekend approached while here

we got RockPilers, who stack them up, followed by Others who knock them down.

Sisyphusian, as things blew through and

over and through again.  Once up and about I continued with the Benicia Inventory, a massive undertaking [not shown – maybe subsequently]; the smallishes…smalls soon to come and

then, ah, the smallests.  Many.  Morning walks were sometimes bright but the weather

remained sufficiently unsettled to discourage unwrapping the Recreational Vehicle

as the alleged ‘last storm of the season’ tumbled, or drizzled, up the straits

with Valero’s early olfactory pollution fortuitously cleansed by afternoon’s light rains.

Afternoon alley in said rain…

Wednesday will doubtless be another day, with another visit to the Dentisphere…

*I have no idea why I specifically pictured the fender of a ’55 Chevy, having never owned nor worked on one, but it was an abiding vision for the Duration – tools plunked down on my torso, picked up, plunked down again – until all fired up on a handful of Ibuprofen and a fistful of ice we were out the door and down the road…

The hills are soooooo lush! Some great images and I hope the dental procedures are worth the effort and $$$$$$$…..

Good recovery on the tooth front. Having worked on a friend’s 265 V8 ’55 Chevy, I can testify they were easy to work on, you must be in good hands.
