…and other things that might or might not be impor’ int*…like these sunsets, sold separately;
Anyway, the digital autoclaps dictates that we are probably lacking the bandwidth to keep on doing this stuff until Colorado, three weeks hence.
*[“impor’ int” = the way NPR correspondents all seem to pronounce the word formerly known as “important”]
Maybe.

lovely shots. Its funny, I really like the ones with the small structure hunkered down but I’m not so keen on the ones that include the house infrastructure….mebbe I like my made man stuff at a distance perhaps?But it’s not impor*int.
That “small structure hunkered down” is probably actually the juniper out by the plays, one of two trees we had here when we started, but I like to put a little bit of porch architecture in from time to time just to indicate that pretty much all the shots are taken from the comfort of a chair facing east from there…
Clearly you’ve had some crystal sunsets although I see a small smattering of clouds in one. Your playa’s reflecting pool maintains evidence of a wet winter although an arid atmosphere may hint at drought-days ahead. Here on the coast, after a week of June gloom, we awake to actual rain; a nice surprise. Sorry to hear about the desert’s lack of bandw*th; we will miss more hits/missives until you’re liberated; uh, “Libre-ated”?
Michael,
IF there was ever a line between your painting and your photography you have now obliterated it. Nice.

I wish!

Wow, just wow…for both the photography and The Playa with water. BTW, what are autoclaps?
Autoclaps seem to be rastafarian for something akin to an apocalypse…
Ahhhhh…the sheer luxury of just being able to sit there and soak in that view! Lucky to be able to do it so off-ten…..which is where they put the t from impor*int.
