Monthly Archives: May 2026

Summer started with one

of those “if you don’t like the weather look out the other window” days…

with more unloading and at the end a fireside [that chilly!]

dinner with Dave, who’d been up to spend a few days working on the lights with Kevin.

Monday brought Alien Avians

and warming trends, then Tuesday, after seeing Dave head for the pavement and SF until

the 4th of Juplaya when he returns to finalize the installation before BM,

I attempted a slightly longer walk, struggling back around the tamarisk to breakfast

and, late in the day, typically FedEx, my package was dumped at the gate by the sign that says

“Deliver Packages to House” after they determined whatever was in it wasn’t of interest.

FedEx…Amazon loves ’em, but not us.

Another day

wondering who besides a wayward pigeon could be despoiling “Refugium”…oh, him.

Great Egret, great happiness for diggity dogs,

simple dinners out,

mild mornings with more doggo happinesses…

evenings, too.

A calm week before the Big Weekend.
