Spring is a time of year I go into and through feeling unaccountably uneasy, waking with dread for no discernible reason other than those Nigerian inquiries through my website…none of which has anything to do with the pictures below although due to the computer’s crash we are spared the last days at Wall and last week’s trip over the hill;
Benicia, on the other hand, leaps into the new season with its customarily hopefully festive activities,
wind…
…and the interior life;
One evening I arrange for myself a vicarious trip from eastern Nevada to Tenth and Harrison in San Francisco, the western end of Highway 40 in 1950…which conjures up a nice panel truck from around 1942;
Other scenes seen downtown, and in our somewhat still chill garden [tamales imported from Antonito, Colorado, and kept frozen since Christmas], etc.
Hoping the chronological hiatus between the installation of the Models and the trip over the hill [including the airplane refueling on Sand Pass Road] will soon be retrieved for a future post…
Meanwhile…
