All @ Wall, really.

So the week cleared up, dried out and

Thursday,

before we’d even had our small morning walk, Linda was experiencing the inherent delays

of American commercial aviation.  As her travel day wore on here at Wall Spring Seth and Sonny

delivered Chris’s flat files to their new forever home as my old Radar Ranch chest of drawers from  Barberville in Emigrant Canyon found a new forever home with them while elsewhere,

following numerous unexpected airport adventures, Linda made it to Sacramento and was soon shuttling home to Benicia as I dined on the porch. Friday saw the introduction, thanks

to Sonny’s internet interventions, of a new robotic spy/vacuum system

into our environs as well as a small afternoon trip east towards the playa which

unearthed an unusual Easter Rock for L. and in other news on an entirely

other subject, the discovery of Sara Flores Valera’s intricate neural maps of traditional indigenous [tryptamines downplayed in the Smithsonian article but plain to see] visionary

experiences.  A most interesting artist.

Then came the weekend, warming slightly to culminate

in Easter, Sunday, which passed by unremarkably so long as one wasn’t paying attention to the destructive bloviations of the kakistocracy, which for the most part I wasn’t as Lee came by

in the afternoon to choose a painting to trade for his magnificent book…hard to ignore

a third world war during “Holy Week” though, even a gratuitous and illegal one dressed up as an “excursion”. Fortunately no WWlll here as of Easter Sunday sundown.

All quiet on the home front, homies…and Peace…full.

Monday I woulda been packing but during Lee’s visit we realized that Tuesday the Big Boy

would be visiting Gerlach…ample reason to postpone departure until it steamed through Phil

Siding that day and reason enough to stay for a couple more sunsets, contemplating Phil

from the East Porch as Netanyahu’s chump’s “peace plan” disintegrated…

Still Peaceful on the Smoke Creek…
