and laid out at least insofar as walking anywhere was concerned we nonetheless opened up our
bathroom to Scott and Thalo for the shower replacement project which they managed to
accomplish by Sunday evening after a long long day…my projects, meanwhile, were reaching
various stages of impasse; the ’45 radiator proving considerably less cooperative than had been hoped and the stretchers-for-every-scrap of-canvas stalled out waiting to be sorted…
We did finally connect with Bryan for images and tales of his tours of the Battlefields of Bastogne, Christmas in Chianti, transit through Venice and week in Vienna
[as well as an unexpected circumnavigation of the globe due to travel disruptions ostensibly attributable to state sponsored piracies in the Caribbean] with some bonus historical pictures
– BLM and Lefty, 2006 – on Saturday night,
a night showing how truly tiny a first gen Tundra really is…
Sunday as Scott and Thalo labored L. and I indulged our new ice cream tradition at the conveniently relocated Double Rainbow and after watching the street awhile I took
a tentative knee-testing bike ride which worked out so well I did it again on Monday, catching
the emergence of a foghorning frieghter
coming up the narrows…
All well, all good though in the world at large, “Trump world”, we have these nonsensicals,
NYT photo, licensed to kill/licensed to be Total assholes which is all, along with the increasingly unhinged and world-endangering antics of their Supreme Leader, apparently just fine with a large number of my fellow Americans. But not me, not at all or ever.

I miss hearing the foghorns in the city.
Nice to see young Lefty!
The last group looks like a bunch of thuggs playing make-believe soldiers.
Very untrained [by design] thugs acting out macho whiteboy fantasies on dangerous grounds. Domestic terrorists backed by Congress; this is not looking good.
The foghorning freighter is levitating as it enters the narrows!!
Sorry there’s a problem with walking. Here’s good news: I had terrible back pain with activi ty for couple of months then it stopped. I guesss my back realigned itself. Hope it stays fixed.
I hope so too!
