We had our Monday morning up the creek, then a trip to the post office

with rain outside La Clinica,

a beautiful ride home

and sunset.

The next day, though troubled by the threat of an imminent Government Shutdown

and idiocies at the so-called Department of War, we went by Dean’s

to see some Nonagenarian Art – of which there was much,

some of it seemingly channeling Extragalactic Objects,

then home for lunch.

Despite reverberations of Hegseth’s braying and OLD’s morning meanderings we headed

for the towns…Gardner,

Walsenburg’s dump [convenient to the proposed ICE incarceration facility], fuel by the highway, Safeway and, after checking in on potential lumber for the library project at

the Habib, home as the government shut down*,

inspiring Mikey’s “4D Plan” to free up funds and begin the restoration of our spiraling country;

D1. Deport… Miller, Vought, Vance, Hegseth, Bondi, Ginny Thomas and her creature Clarence…etc. etc. with every one of their puppeteers and enablers.  The list goes on, though where such a toxic crew could be dumped is problematic.  Best load them up on the humungous rocket currently imaginatively called “Starship” [AI says it was originally called the BFR or “Big Falcon Rocket” but I remember BFR originally meant something more typically Elonesque; “Big F–king Rocket”…history rewritten in real time, eh?], paint it like a penis and shoot them off to Mars.

D2. Dissolve ICE…[a billion dollar savings right there] and prosecute any and all members suspected of violations of human rights and/or the Constitution, delivering the guilty [lookin’ at you, Greg Bovino!] directly to CECOT in El Salvador but giving the inmates a heads up as to who to expect.

D3. Defund Israel….the no brainer and BIG savings….plus it’s definitely time to send Netanyahu to the Hague.

D4. DELETE the Big Bullshit Bill [read all the “does nots” for what it really does]…lots of money to be gained from rescinding those tax breaks for the rich, the fossil fools and de-ICING [see D2].**

…ah, well.

The next morning things were as calm and bright as ever, at least around here and up

in the woods

Ditto out west as well…

*Depending on who you listen to it’s either because the Dems want to put millions of illiterate illegals on health care [I know that sounds preposterous but there was MAGAt [pron. “maggot”] Mike Johnson*** saying that very thing live on TV****] to pay for their sex change operations or because the Trumplicans want to continue defunding social services to fund ICE and continue tax breaks for their billionaire benefactors/owners.

**A number of other things that could help the country if deleted might include fossil fuel subsidies and most if not all of Elon Musk’s government projects.

***Yet another candidate for Elon’s Big Dick rocket, though it’ll probably be so full he’ll have to be strapped on outside along with, come to think of it, Ginny Thomas given that MAGAtland is No Country for Old Women.

****We have our own MAGAt here, flooding the zone with lies and distractions to the point where Libre’s president had to step in to clarify what people were supposed to be voting on…too bad the USA doesn’t have a president like that.  America in miniature, or, to paraphrase Mary Geddry, “the perfect MAGA trifecta – lie, deflect, ramble”…
