Out for the evening [and a birthday]

after a Usual Day – the chilly creek and the studio – it was

down the road to Mike and Nancy’s for long leisurely hors d’oeuvres [these New Yorkers!] followed by a dinner of summer’s Gagliano’s faves, zucchini blossoms with the mushroom ravioli…

home late [for us] but up to another perfect fall day

and more after that

with forest bathing

and home after lunch to collapse in the studio; all that sun hanging [and taking down] laundry

having taken its toll.  Or maybe it’s just wondering “what’s next” with the kookie coup-sters.  They’re certainly rolling out the potential for Total Domination and Total Repression

at warp speed what [another day, that of Satur-] with all the brass recalled from around

the world for a little quality loyalty time with Petey and his American flag hankie which, given the world’s Situations, should make us all Feel Safer Now…everyone that is except

those sensitive ICEholes up in Portland who OLD thinks need the military to protect them from locals who don’t believe masked thugs should have the run of their city.  So how ’bout Masked Thugs + the Army?  It is [or was] a “Free Country”, right?

Sunday morning by the time the sun rose over a slammed Tesla in Gerlach it had already risen

over Linda’s 80th [!] birthday here in the mtns. with our walk up the creek,

returning to a ten minute birthday filmlet of A day in the Life of Izel and then a lengthy zoom

with him and the filmlet’s producer, a small trip upstairs and after a sweet visit

from Ariel and Leon bearing birthday flowers

there appeared a rich array of delicacies to accompany an 80th birthday champagne

a good time being had by all…
