After the rains

maybe…

but except for one morning’s fog it surely seemed so.

All that at least made it possible for Adán to stucco, much needed, the back wall

and be finished by noon Saturday,

leaving more days, weirdly warm, strangely summery,

while this, a hummingbird, kept turning up on this particular fennel-stalk every time I

biked to the water.  Good luck, they say…

as he/she/they’s there every day as

was the sun, some,

making for an opportune time of errands while my little friend

was ever on his perch no matter when I showed up.  The bright days continued into the middle

of the week anyway, though after Linda took a disturbing tumble while gardening

[Bougainvillea-hacking being more like it] and I made my monthly pilgrimage to Vallejo for PT

we finished out Wednesday with tofu green curry from our usual across the street. Easy…
