ensued as vacancies in the landscape
began to appear as well as, first thing,
an offroad forklift, all watched over by our omnipresent Owls who were
in turn watched over by Tim and Jason before a trip after breakfast to Gerlach and Willey
at the County for an extension to render the aforementioned fork viable, then
back at a leisurely pace to Wall Spring
where while I made lunch the extension was put to immediate use moving Gramma Seed
and afterwards to dismember Insinuation [not shown] before they began building
an elaborate cabin for Grey Matter, not finishing up until the following day,
Wednesday, at which point
things became Increasingly Intense
and nonstop;
Grey Matter went into the cabin, Gramma Seed moved nearer the road as did
Insinuation, in pieces, to await
the three o’clock arrival of Medardo Aguilar-Meijia’s flatbed from La Cabana Express,
Riverside by way of Fernley, for 5.5 hours of elaborate loading,
blocking and strapping as the day went away unto near dark
…and gone, Medardo moving most cautiously and carefully towards the pavement,
leaving us to celebrate
with bubbly and pasta until well into the night.
Well…after all all’s well that ends. Up in Omaha, we hope.
