In between filling our water I checked out Charlie,<\/a> a fascinating and charismatic if obnoxious character. What a life, rife with Belief which he managed to monetize bigtime from a very young age. In the days since, OLD [when he’s not crowing about mowing down the East Wing of the White House] and crew are busily sanctifying him as a Martyr to the Cause\/excuse to<\/span><\/p>\n further demonize the Dems and all I can say, hey, is that whatever else happens the one thing we know for sure is that Tyler Robinson** is a really good shot with a 30-06.<\/span><\/p>\n Meanwhile the water filled well before another rainy end of day and<\/span><\/p>\n Friday we pried ourselves away to the Walsenburg Transfer Station before turning<\/p>\n north on 25 for the Bessemer District<\/a> in Pueblo, Gagliano’s <\/a>for a huge stash of frozen sausage,<\/p>\n ravioli and stuffed zucchini blossoms, then took Northern Avenue<\/a> up to Safeway and, another<\/p>\n great discovery of Mu and Bill’s, Sonora’s Carnecer\u00eda and Taco Shop <\/a>\u00a0for an absolutely fabulous lunch as well as a fine selection of salsas, homemade tortillas and a dozen tamales<\/p>\n for the trip home, which still needed stops at 80\/20<\/a> and the Vitamin Cottage before we could actually finally get back on 25 which, after passing by several crashes and backups in the northbound lanes through town, became relatively clear sailing all the way down, over to 69 and up<\/p>\n our eight miles of gravel, to get everything unloaded and packed away before the afternoon rains, which drizzled well into the night, began.
