<\/a><\/p>\nand then had two days away, the first only as far as La Clinica<\/a> to see Desire\u00e9 but then<\/p>\n on Wednesday early to Pueblo for two grocery and two autobody<\/a> experiences<\/a> [with time out<\/p>\n between autobodies for dentistry<\/a> followed by carnitas enchiladas at Los Girasoles]…home late afternoon to stagger in with the groceries just ahead of a long spate of rain, lightning and thundering …nevertheless and despite that next morning made it up the knoll, 100′ above the<\/p>\n house to the edge of the impressively precipitous Yellow Zone from which the Huajatollas<\/a><\/p>\n were quite evident…<\/p>\n as was, later, industriousness and,<\/p>\n later still, a slight spate of after dinner rain,<\/p>\n not to be confused with a screensaver of Gerlach Dust;<\/p>\n Another other day with “The Oculus” [above] and “Crystal Vessel” [below], another 100′ walk,<\/p>\n this time with a view out across the upper upper Huerfano<\/a> and the treacherous trek back down<\/p>\n [neither shown], a short late afternoon perambulation,<\/p>\n dinner al fresco oh and<\/p>\n the very next day, Saturday, the annual Libre meeting which, fearing contagion [two locals dropped out due to Covid-like symptoms], we opted to attend virtually and were glad we did;<\/p>\n anyway, there went the afternoon.\u00a0 For some reason on Sunday it was very hard to ascend<\/p>\n a mere 90′ let alone make it<\/p>\n down to where I could go on reading about Noah Davis<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a> <\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/a><\/p>\n<\/a> <\/a> <\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a> <\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n
