April’s last weekend warmed briefly up, after which<\/p>\n

the week quite cooled down [note goslings]<\/p>\n

through and including Wednesday’s trip<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

through all the old nabes to Beulah where the drawings for “Landscapes, Recollected”*<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

were scanned by D. Rumsey at Cartography Associates’<\/a> mission control followed by a modest<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

lunch, numerous unexpected downpours while navigating those three bridges on the return<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

and more unpredicted rain through the night. May?\u00a0 Really?<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

At any rate I wasn’t taking many pictures as I wandered around – Vallejo, Thursday in the ’45, none for instance – but Friday made it out Green Island Road<\/a> and though neither the<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Afghans at Eco<\/a> nor Brian’s still remarkable rusting piles next door could provide what I sought<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

it was a pleasant enough adventure even if by dinner time [not shown] Cinco de Mayo was sinking into rain…really.\u00a0 Maybe, maybe…for the last time?<\/span><\/p>\n

Cool and cloudy were the days<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

wet and murky were the bays<\/p>\n

and Sunday we made our last trip to Doctor He,<\/a> heading into a time of Last Things…<\/p>\n
