X-cape

A last morning walk, early light,

Jan Lucca’s truck…and goodbye to mine.

Over the hill a bigblock Chevy at Hallelujah Junction after which

the Car Theme [and pavement] ends…

Doyle Road east of Fish Springs; Sand Pass,

the Smoke Creek Bridge and

Wall Spring, the Day’s Destination

in good time.

Next morning plenty of cheat threatening to turn explosive

…and surveillance.

“no we ain’t growing none of that recreational marijuana out here, ossifer…”

Boundary Ditch between Wall and Parker…and a train.

Other mornings

cottonwood cotton,

more surveillance; anybody know what this is? From the sound of the engine it’s the real deal.

Some sunsets to be sold separately, subsequently.

That last pastel shot of the sunset….with it all!
When I flew over that area 11 May, I loved how the mountains were just edged with snow ar the crest.

One spring [for which it’s named], teo wells, two oversize mule deer sighted early morning of May’s last day. The wings and tail were too squared off to be a Dauntless. I looked up a lot of USN carrier planes and came up empty.. ????
